Brothers, mark your calendars! The Mu Omicron Alumni Association is hosting our annual Weekend of Tournaments on February 28, 2026, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. Whether you’re a competitive spirit looking to claim victory or just want to reconnect with your TKE family, this is THE event you won’t want to miss.

A Full Day of Brotherhood Activities

This isn’t just about tournaments - it’s a complete day of alumni engagement at the TKE House. From board business to friendly competition, we’ve packed the schedule with opportunities to connect, contribute, and celebrate our brotherhood.

• 1:00 PM - Alumni Board Meeting
• 3:00 PM - Alumni Welcome Reception
• 4:00 PM - Foosball Tournament begins
• 6:00 PM - Poker Tournament check-in
• 6:30 PM - Poker Tournament starts

The Tournaments

Foosball Tournament: Playing for a Cause (and a Prize!)

Starting at 4:00 PM, our Foosball Tournament kicks off with teams of two battling it out on the table. But this isn’t just about who has the fastest push, or who can do the most pledge killers - it’s about making a difference.

All proceeds from each teams entry fee goes directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. By participating, you’re not just competing for glory; you’re helping our undergraduate brothers reach their St. Jude fundraising goals and continuing TKE’s proud tradition of supporting this incredible cause.

And speaking of glory - the winning team will receive a special prize! We’re keeping the details under wraps, but trust us, it’s something worth competing for. Whether you’re a foosball master or haven’t touched a table since your active days, all skill levels are welcome.

Poker Tournament: High Stakes, Higher Brotherhood

At 6:00 PM, we shift gears to the felt for our highly anticipated Poker Tournament. Check-in begins at 6:00 PM, with cards in the air at 6:30 PM sharp.

The buy-in is $60 (cash at check-in), and trust us - this tournament is worth every penny. There’s nothing quite like the tension of a river card, the satisfaction of a well-timed bluff, or the celebration when your hand holds up. Mix that with TKE brotherhood and good-natured trash talk, and you’ve got an unforgettable evening.

From tight-aggressive grinders to loose cannons, we see all playing styles at this table. The competition is fierce, but the atmosphere is pure TKE - supportive, fun, and filled with the kind of memories that last a lifetime.

Alumni Welcome Reception: Start Your Day Right

At 3:00 PM, we’re kicking things off with an Alumni Welcome Reception. This is your chance to grab some refreshments, reconnect with brothers you haven’t seen in years, and ease into the day’s festivities. Whether you’re planning to compete in the tournaments or just hang out, the reception is the perfect way to start your afternoon at the house.

Board Meeting: Help Shape Our Future

For those interested in the business side of the fraterntiy, join us at 1:00 PM for our Board of Advisors Meeting. This is where we discuss house improvements, hear from undergraduate leadership on the state of the chapter and help the fraternity become even better.

Not Into Competition? Come Anyway!

Here’s the thing about the Weekend of Tournaments - you don’t have to compete in anything to have an amazing time. Many brothers come just to hang out, catch up with old friends, and soak in the atmosphere of the TKE House.

When you register, you can simply check “Just Hanging Out” and join us for the day. Walk around, watch the tournaments, grab some food, share stories from your active days, and connect with brothers you haven’t seen in years. Sometimes the best moments happen in the conversations between rounds.
